To do a factory reset go to settings then do backup and reset.when that is done and by the way you must have and active subscription then go to system update check for updates then hit download weather is looks like its there or not.let it do its thing.when that is finished go to vehicle updates and download everything you wish to have on your scanner. you may also want to update your vci as well.
